책 소개About the Book
2015년 11월 두산갤러리에서 있었던 이윤성 작가 개인전 「NU-FRAME」의 일환으로 발행된 책이다. 전시의 주요 작품인 '다나에' 연작을 여러 페이지를 통해 보여주고 있으며 동시에 2014년 메이크샵아트스페이스에서 있었던 개인전 「NU-TYPE」의 '토르소' 연작도 함께 소개한다. 건축가 정현, 아트인컬쳐 장승연 편집장, 미술 디자인 평론가 임근준의 글도 수록되어 작가의 작품 세계와 작품 이해를 돕는다.
Published in conjunction with Yunsung Lee's solo exhibition NU-FRAME at Doosan Gallery Seoul in November 2015. The book presents the Danae series, the core of that exhibition, across a sequence of pages, alongside the Torso series from his 2014 solo exhibition NU-TYPE at Makeshop Art Space. Essays by architect Hyun Jung, Art in Culture editor-in-chief Seung-yeon Jang, and art and design critic Geun-joon Lim offer context for reading the work.
